What we do with your details

Short version: we use your name, number and address to come and fix your garage door, and for nothing else. The long version is below.

Who this is about

This policy covers Stewart Garage Door Repair Service, 5360 Stewart St, Milton, FL 32570, and the website at stewartgaragedoors.site. If you have a question about anything on this page, email contact@stewartgaragedoors.site or call (850) 850-3307.

What this website collects

Nothing. This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no login, no shopping basket and no comment section. It sets no cookies of its own, it runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and there is no database behind it that could store anything about you.

The contact form on our contact page does not send anything to us over the web, because there is no server here to receive it. When you press the button, your own device opens your usual email application with a message already addressed and filled in. Nothing leaves your device until you press send in that application, and the text never passes through this website.

Two pages embed a Google Maps frame so you can see where we are. That frame is loaded from Google and is subject to Google’s own privacy terms; it loads only when you scroll it into view. If you would rather not load it at all, the address is written out in plain text beside it and in the footer of every page.

What we collect when you contact us

When you call or email us about a garage door, we take the details we need to do the work: your name, a phone number, the address where the door is, and a description of the problem. If we carry out work for you, we keep a record of what was done, what parts were fitted and what was charged.

We use those details to arrive at the right address with the right parts, to contact you about the appointment, to invoice you, and to answer questions if you call back later about work we did. We do not use them for anything else.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your details, we do not rent them, and we do not pass them to anyone for marketing. The only people who see them are the people who need them to complete your job or keep our books straight: our own team, and, where relevant, a supplier ordering a part for your specific door or an accountant preparing our tax records. We will also disclose information if the law requires it of us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are discarded once it is clear nothing is going ahead. Records of completed work are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and tax purposes, and then disposed of.

Asking to see it or delete it

Write to contact@stewartgaragedoors.site and ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We will respond in a reasonable time. Where we are required to keep an accounting record for a fixed period we will say so rather than quietly ignore the request.

Children

This is a garage door repair business. Our services are offered to adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. There is no mailing list here to notify, which is rather the point.

Still the simplest option

Just call and ask

If a written policy is not answering your question, (850) 850-3307 will. We are open Monday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM.
